We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Axel Rieck, who has joined us as our Sea Freight Expert. Axel brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization, and we are excited to have him on board.
Axel began his career in transport and logistics in 1979 as an apprentice in a haulage company in Osnabrück. His dedication to the field led him to further his education, and he completed his European Business Studies at Osnabrück University. In 1989, Axel moved to Hamburg, where he continued to build his expertise in the shipping and port industry with reputable companies such as Hapag-Lloyd, HHLA, and Cellpap Terminal Hamburg.
Axel’s career trajectory saw him take on significant leadership roles, including serving as the General Manager for the German branch of a Norwegian shipping line and as the Managing Director of a Hamburg-based forwarding company. Since 2017, Axel has been working as a freelance consultant, specializing in sales and business development within the logistics sector.
