For our newest Alfa member interview, we sat down with Zeena Al-Taleb from Amman, Jordan. We talked about some of their impressive projects, the need for more sustainable logistics practices and her secret to optimal customer satisfaction.
How did you get started in the logistics industry and what has your journey been like so far?
Established in 2002 as a private corporate entity with Logistics service. Authorized to operate by the Civil Aviation Authority, Jordanian Maritime Authority and Ministry of Transport.
In 2018, we successfully accomplished our biggest project in Jordan “Attarat Power Project”, In 2020 we moved the largest object ever to be transported inside of Jordan, 2022 was our “Arab Potash Co.” project where we handled Transportation and Customs Clearance, and Many more.
If there is one thing that you could change to the logistics industry, what would it be and why?
If I could change one thing in the logistics industry, it would be to accelerate the adoption of sustainable and eco-friendly practices. The logistics sector has a significant environmental footprint, and it’s crucial that we prioritize sustainability to reduce emissions, minimize waste, and protect our planet. By embracing greener technologies and practices, we can not only reduce our impact on the environment but also create a more resilient and efficient supply chain.
How do you set yourself apart from your competitors?
I believe in building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored solutions. Additionally, I stay updated with the latest industry trends and technology to provide cutting-edge logistics services. Continuous improvement, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence are the cornerstones of my approach.
What do you like most about the industry and your job in particular?
What I appreciate most about the logistics industry is its dynamic nature. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to find innovative solutions.
What do you like the most about being a member of our logistics network?
Being a part of your logistics network has been a valuable experience. I appreciate the sense of community and the opportunities it provides for networking and collaboration. How do you relax in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy various activities to unwind and spending quality time with family and friends is also a significant source of relaxation and joy for me.
